Hi - Not sure if you have already been updated, but my husband and I adopted these 2 guys. They have moved into our condo in Chicago and are loving the royal treatment. We love senior dogs, albeit usually small ones, and my husband is delighted to take these guys to the local dog park, play ball and give them big beef bones. They are very sweet and have found a loving retirement home!!

Thank you Dr. Jordan for your insightful response. I encourage readers to check out Dr. Jordan's website as mentioned in the post. Just as an FYI, Dr. Jordan is a veterinarian well qualified to comment on the subject.

Hello;
It is important to understand that "they" the authorities have known since 1945 and with published results starting in 1959 that only 1 rabies vaccine was needed to give a mature dog protection from rabies FOR LIFE.There is other mammalian rabies immunity results already published in humans that at least 14 years is effective. The problem is the RABIES VACCINE SCAM and the fact that "they" the authorities have not been administering vaccines according to scientific studies but rather to the whims of filling the coffers of local veterinarians whom garner the support of local politicians. The fact that rabies vaccines are the most adverse event associated and that autoimmune disease comes from vaccines is a large concern for the public helath whom want protection from this disease. Over vaccinating is compromising this safety to public health. There is already a 5 year study that was completed as to the duration of rabies protection. Our leading primier veterinary vaccine resaerchers, Dr. Ron Schultz and Dr. Jean Dodd have said that only one or two in a lifetime would be necessary to our mammal companion animals and yet the Rabies Scam continues to milk as much money from communities as possible without ensuring protection but rather adding liability of immune dysregulation of the vaccinate and increased chance to expressing the disease. Wildlife rabies is endemic in our country and we have the CDC and the untested, unscientific procedure of seeding live rabies virus baits into the environment for that. Merial the company making the world's supply of chimera rabies virus oral baits is the other reason the US even has an endemic rabies problem. Read more about this in MARK OF THE BEAST HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT and on www.dr-jordan.com and please,please please Tell EVERYONE YOU KNOW\Right now, a new mutant strain of rabies is spreading across Arizona and this rabies does not need a bite to transmit and jump amongst several mammalian species, it is transmitting via aerosolization just like the flu.

Very well thought out proceedure on how you handle lost pets. Where I live, the shelters are severly over crowded and do euthanize, so it makes for an even tougher decicsion.

looks like charlie needs a hair cut and some lovings.
three years ago we came across a hybrid , a sammy-poo.
which is samoyed and standard poodle , and a beautiful dog she is. we recieved through a friend who had to move across seas. we recieved at 5 months old she is now 3 yrs. and we would not trade for the world.
the more we looked into the hybrid mix , the more we found out how people abuse and use the dogs. sad.
all the the best for charlie, i hope someone will grab him up.
